Jogging maybe?  But no one needs to be careful with the ear buds.

Maybe because they block out other noises so your odds of getting run over/running out in front of a car while jogging, etc. increases?

 

 

And they damage your hearing as all ear buds/headphones do.

 

I wear noise cancelling headphones at work and my boss loves to sneak up on me and scare me.

 

I never hear him.

 

Very easy to attack someone wearing these things.

 

Maybe that's what the OP means?
