I have just started shopping at QVC and to be honest, I believe I'm going to stick with shopping at HSN. QVC's prices are very high and you rarely offer EZ Pay. Sorry, but I don't have the money to pay a high price without some sort of EZ payment plan. And saying I get EZ pay every day with a Q-card is just false advertising - any credit card is pay a little every month. EZ Pay means you are only charged every month. Big difference.

Makes me wonder why you're posting on the Q forums? I must be missing something.

With credit cards, if you don't pay the entire bill each month, you will be charged interest so it isn't the same as using the easy pay and the QVC card. I guess I don't understand your post. Actually this past week, they offered 4 easy pays on any item and this offer was from I think 7 pm to 11 pm. It was mentioned on the website. This offer appeared 2 nights this past week and I ordered a few items and used my regular credit card.

The e-z pay means you are being charged INTEREST FREE ...your regular c.c. you are paying interest on your entire amount if you carry over your charged items...
Big Difference....

@BarbGWhatever is your point?
If it's trying to pertsuade committed QVC shoppers to go to HSN, you're barking up the wrong tree. For me sort of like asking me to shop Sears when Nordstrom is at the other end of the mall.
And if you're trying to get QVC to lower its prices by selling what HSN does, then I really hope you fail.
In the meantime, I do agree with you that people should not buy what they can't pay for every month when the bill comes in --unless we're talking tires for your car maybe. If you carry a balance on your credit card or (horrors) use a debit card, imo you shouldn't be using EZPay anyway. Save up and buy with cash instead of creating debt. I'm way too much of a Great Depression child to pay interest on clothes or makeup or guitars!

If you don't have the money to pay the prices maybe you shouldn't shop. I also think you are bit confused about credit cards and ez pay.

Huh?
I don't even have a Q card, but reading the online info about it, with the Q card you automatically get ezpays, which as another poster mentioned, is interest free, where any other CC is not.
You may want to check your info before you jump to accusing a company of "false advertising"....just a friendly suggestion.

I hope you don't take this the wrong way but going forward you should never use a credit card thinking your meant to only pay a little a mouth thats a pathway to ruin. When you use a credit card it should be knowning or with the intent anyway of paying it off when you get your statement and if you don't think you can do that maybe you shouldn't be buying the item unless of course it's an emergency. Best of luck to you.

@BarbG welcome to the forums ! I have found these forums are active and a good place to get info on many topics.
As we all know credit of any type can be a slippery slope if not done wisely. Personally I like easy pay sometimes. In my past and when it was offered more back in the day I used lay away or just 'saving up' for desired items. Of course there was usually a fee on Lay Away and impatience on saving and waiting.
<saying I get EZ pay every day with a Q-card is just false advertising >
3 easy pays are offered to Q credit card holders on all items. This is probably what you are talking about ?
One lesson I learned at HSN this year is --unless I would just die (?-
) without the purchase of a fashion item at the opening of a fashion season to wait for thier 'clearance'! I bought a long sweater at about $70. then at a clearance sale (same size and color) was $29.99!
of course thier shipping was $6.+ --- live and learn .

While I'm not a child of the Depression my parents were. I was raised to save your money and pay cash for what you need/want. That said, I do use a credit card but pay in full as soon as the bill arrives. Paying a high interest rate is tantamount to flushing your hard-earned money down the toilet.
As for the OP: I find it difficult to believe that an adult does not know the difference between an E-Z pay payment and a credit card. While it's not my business how people choose to spend their money, E-Z Pay is an E-Z Way for the Q to encourage consumers to make purchases they otherwise could not afford and that makes money for the Q. Those payments add up.
For those of us who do not use E-Z Pay, it would be nice if the Q would offer real sales instead of reducing the price by 29 cents. Just my opinion. docsgirl
