Re: ENOUGH WITH ALL OF THE EMAILS

@japes

All of the comms you are sent are automated by their campaign management (CM) system. Different groups are assigned different sets of email engagement. From QVC, there are two groups: Everything (which you can opt out of) and Purchased (which you can't opt out of because they are all related to a purchase; they aren't breaking any SPAM regulations). There are probably more groups (for RTW, cooking, or newsletters), but I'm an opt-out, so I don't see them.

The Purchased emails are sent via a marketing workflow built in their CM system. To change that, just so you get two emails if you purchase, someone has to go into the platform, build a new workflow, and possibly even rewrite the emails so you get all the info you need. That's why you can't opt out of the Purchased group.

I doubt they'll change their current engagement. Someone suggested writing a rule in your email box that files the emails into a QVC folder. That way, you don't see them in your general mailbox. That's a good option.

No, I actually like it. It lets me know when approximately my package will arrive, which is helpful becasue I still work fulltime, and am not home during the day.

Macy's does that too, but I appreciate the added info...

I would rather get the extra e-mails about shipping or order arriving soon, than having to keep checking my order status.  I read them and delete - no big deal.  Sometimes QVC can't win no matter what they do.

Personally, I like the updates.  A couple times I forgot I'd even ordered something!

QVC generates a lot of communications ... more than any of us wants.

The OP needs to check her settings.  The magic word is UNSUBSCRIBE.
