Don't promise holiday delivery for gifts if you can't make it happen!

Sorry I depended on QVC this year to send the honora earrings they promised before Christmas. This was a real fiasco. When I called customer service because the delivery date was estimate for 12/28 and 1/3, the rep said they would upgrade shipping so that it would arrive. When she did that, the item showed as backorder. Sounds like she gave my planned gift to someone on waistlist! Never again. QVC cannot be trusted for last minute gift shopping. After years of spending lots of money at QVC especially at holiday time, I'm ready to look much more closely at other merchants. Please Q....don't make promises you can't keep!
