Disappointing delivery and general service by QVC

My orders are routed all over the place and then sit at a location.  You guys need to send your warehouses to visit AMazon and see how they do it.  No good.  DO NO USE THE USPS.

@contrarye.  QVC does not route your orders, the shippers do.  Nor do they get the special privileges that Amazon gets....nobody else does.  How would you like your Q shipping charges to increase appreciatively?  They could probably speed up your deliveries by a day or two but it would cost you.

@contrarye Everybody's orders are routed all over the place. It's NOT QVC's fault.  In case you missed it, we are in the midst of a pandemic which is affecting everything.

Amazon is able to deliver more rapidly because they have warehouses all over the country and mostly use their own delivery trucks. If QVC did that, you would see a marked increase in both merchandise and shipping costs.

Not everyone has problems. Everything I order gets to me in about a week. I guess I'm lucky.

@contrarye

I haven't had the problems with any of my QVC orders that a lot of people here have talked about.

As for not using USPS, I get most of my Amazon orders that way and have not had delivery problems.

Mail Innovations, on the other hand, is a completely different story...

@contrarye - I haven't had any problems with shipments from QVC. I get packages from both USPS and UPS which both arrive in a timely manner.

If you are having issues, don't blame QVC - look to the shipper which is either USPS or UPS.

Re: Disappointing delivery and general service by QVC

Everyone is having shipping problems, even Amazon. I haven't had two day delivery from Amazon is ages and I am a Prime Member.  It takes at least a week, somethimes lounger  for me to get my stuff.

I ordered two items from JC Penny at the same time before Christmas...bulky items.  One order was received in a week, the other I waited forever and called their CS twice.  I finally received it yesterday.

All shipping mediums are overloaded and overworked right now and they are working with less employees.

We just got spoiled with fast delivery.  I remember the old days where everything you ordered said six week delivery.

Re: Disappointing delivery and general service by QVC

USPS is the reliable and the least expensive cheapest shipper.  No one else would send a letter, bill, holiday card for $.55. Other shippers would charge 10 times that for a simple envelope.

Covid has affected vendors and Q. While Q has never been know for fast processing and returns, covid has made it worse. USPS, UPS and FedEx are buried to their eyeballs and will continue to be since more people are ordering online.

Things aren't going to change for a while.  Relax, sit back, and stop stewing over things you can't control.

I only had one incident via delivery I guess I'm kind of lucky to.  This was during Christmas last year I guess with so many ordering online last year it would eventually happen

Re: Disappointing delivery and general service by QVC

@contrarye QVC is odd how they ship items.  I wish the Q would only use UPS and not USPS.  It also is irritating when you order products in advance to have them either go on back order or sit in process for days on end.  I've started shopping more with HSN and Shop HQ.
