All right, so many of us are reeling from the loss of our favorite categories and subcategories and I know many of us are also hoping some of that will be rectified, and quickly.  For example, personally, I can't fathom how a handbag forum wasn't included, but that point has been made... and will continue to be made... This is about something a little different.

Descriptors for some of these categories seem indicated.  At this point, there are four categories that made the cut, which all seem to be rather generic discussion forums and distinctions between them are lacking...  We have"  "Community  Chat", "Q Talk", "Between Friends", and "Mom to Mom"...  This seems like a lot of overlap.  Moreover, some of these categories feel both unnecessary and exclusionary, particularly in light of some of the headings that didn't make the cut... Perhaps better clarifying the purpose of each of these areas might go a long way to ensuring there's a little more rhyme or reason as to where one might best post...

It might also be interesting to look at the page count for all of the categories to determine if some are necessary while others that didn't make the cut might have been short-shrifted...
