OMG.  Is there any host that is perfect?  I can't believe the way posters critique the hosts about every little item.  Everybody has their little idiosynracies. 

I give him credit (and all the other long time hosts) for selling the same old stuff over and over.

That makes the most sense to me, but some want to think the worst of him that he's doing it because he's an arrogant jerk and enjoy trashing him.  smh

There are many non drinkers with abdominal fat and many beef drinkers with six pack abs.

I saw David briefly on two different shows and he certainly has put a 

lot of weight back on. I know he made a very big deal about it a couple 

of years ago and even made another host taste the food!
