Credit Cards & Online ordering

I have placed orders online using two different credit cards. Just this month both of these cards have had fraudulent charges on them. I called customer service to double check that the online ordering check out process was secure. The customer service rep assured me it was. Maybe it is just coincidence that this happened but my other cards that I have not used on this site have been fine. I have since deleted my cards from my QVC account. I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

I've been ordering from QVC for more years than I can even remember, most of it being online for the last several years, and I've never had a problem with credit cards being compromised in any way. Sorry you've experienced this, but have you used the same credit cards anywhere else? It could have been another company and not QVC.

Shopped on the q for 20 years. Have had many different credit cards on file. Haven't had any issues.

Thanks for your replies. The original credit card I had on file with QVC which was the first to get comprised was used at another vendor. As for the second card, I haven't used it anywhere else for quite a few months now. I'm also a long time QVC shopper and never had a problem before. I just applied for the Q card and will only use this now. Only problem is I need a higher credit limit ${#emotions_dlg.biggrin}$

So far I've had no problems, but I don't keep any credit cards on file on any website. I enter the info for the purchase but don't allow the CC to be saved on the site.

I wonder, Brumis, do you make sure you have a secure connection before making an online purchase? Things like public WiFi, for example, can allow a hacker to intercept the information and then use it for their own nefarious purposes.

No issues on the Q so far, fingers crossed! Did have a problem once several years ago but was a problem after purchasing at Orvis.com. Will no longer buy there.
