Could Vendors Answer Questions Online?

While looking at items and checking reviews and questions and answers tonight, I noticed a lot of vendors or representatives from the company don't take the time to answer simple questions.

There are a lot who do, and fellow posters familiar with the item also step in. But ALL vendors should check their product's page for questions and ANSWER them.

TPTB at QVC should make sure this happens!

This is a problem everywhere, not just QVC. I think it's a fear of liability. Ridiculous.

@beach-mom.  You could ask Them a question on Facebook or Instagram.  I doubt if most know qvc has a Q&A function as very few use it.

@Kachina624 - That might work if I was on either of those. I'm not!  Smiley Wink

The vendor would probably have to hire a designated employee.

It seems no one is using the Q & A feature, especially customers.  I'm surprised it's still there.

Valerie and her team answer questions on Facebook, pretty great!

Re: Could Vendors Answer Questions Online?

This would actually be a good idea for someone at QVC to do for items that are being presented. At least on items that they are selling a lot of, like a TSV. Granted they couldn't answer all of them, because some are downright silly or don't make sense... But I saw several questions on the TSV sheets that were good enough to answer on air and be added to future presentations... Like if the sheets were 'slick' or sateen.

I get very frustrated with the Q&A feature because no one answers your questions, so why even have it???
I think the vendor should go through periodically and answer the questions about their products. Especially since hosts aren't describing colors, fabrics, etc. anymore. Talbots always answers the questions. So do other companies
