Re: Considering moving to Florham Park, NJ...need some help :))

My husband has been working there for over 15 years.  He says it's a lovely town.  Wish we could afford to live there!

They have a Trader Joe's!

Anywhere in Morris County is great. Just left the area after 22 years. Sold the big house and wanted to downsize, including those pesky property taxes.

Florham Park is a good choice!

Hi!

My husband and I are considering moving back to NJ and are thinking about Florham Park, NJ.  Can anyone give me input about this town, i.e, shopping, hospitals, safety, etc...  It's looks like a very lovely town. We are interested in renting an apartment or townhouse.  We lived in NJ for many years but down the shore area.

Thank you so much and have a beautiful weekend!Smiley Very Happy

I know Florham Park well!  It's a lovely community.  Safe, near good hospitals and medical care, with lots of shopping conveniently located too.  There are many beautiful neighborhoods, with some more secluded than others.  Overall a nice place to live.

Just curious - did you check out the Princeton/Lawrenceville, Ft Lee/Edgewater and West Chester areas? You were asking about those areas awhile ago.

Also, NJ taxes haven't changed - they are extremely high.

Florham Park is a lovely town with plenty of nearby shopping,& terrific hospitals just a stone's throw away.

Training facility for NY Jets may be a plus if you are sports fans.

Taxes are high, though.

Some of the highest real estate taxes in the US.  Check that out so you are not surprised or shocked by the amount!

Hi,Smiley Very Happy

Yes, we did but Ft Lee/Edgewater was just not a perfect fit for us.  Love the Florham Park area.  If we can find something we like there, then we'll go for it. If not, we'll check out West Chester, Pa.
