I would like to suggest you find someone like Colleen Lopez for the Q - an all around beauty who knows a lot about jewelry and makeup. She's really the greatest. A real pro.

I guess it's in the eye of the beholder. I like Colleen, but watching too much of any of the hosts on any of the channels always serves to point out things that get annoying, her included. She's always impeccably turned out, but I don't consider her a beauty... Each to their own kind of thing, I guess.

I don't think a ""Colleen type"" would fit in at QVC. QVC has changed their selling style too much. I enjoy watching her on HSN. Very well groomed all the time.

They would have to use one of their more seasoned hosts like Mary Beth, Jane or Lisa Robertson and lend her name to product selections, if they wanted to stay with someone they have on hand. It would be a delightful change and really some people buy things because their favorite host endorses it.

They've essentially done this with Gili. Although it doesn't have Lisa's name plastered all over it as the Lopez line does on HSN, it is supposedly Lisa's 'signature' Q line.

I just hope she stays at HSN ---- although if she'd come to QVC, it would be a few more hours every week, I'd never watch and that might be a good thing for me.

I'm not exactly part of the Colleen love-fest either... I like her in very small doses and that's about it... I so rarely watch HSN that it works out nicely for me...
