I have one and had to take the battery out because it drove my doxie crazy!  He would bark every time it played!

Every year Sam's Club has a Seiko clock, it plays at least 12 different tunes. Each year it is a different selection of songs. Last time I was in the store it was on clearance for about $80.

I bought it @drizzellla  LOL  It is beautiful and price was great!  My hubby used to buy me one every Christmas.  He passed in March and I find that when all the clocks chime , I feel so many memories of how excited he was to give them to me.  So this year, I came across that clock and thought , I know he would have bought it for me.  SO I bought it for myself.  I have them syncopated so when one stops another starts.  It is just beautul and have come down in price over the years.

(((@BalletBabe))),  I'm so sorry.   I remember seeing your posts in the past about your husband.   You touch my heart.   So bittersweet and poignant.   My beloved husband passed away unexpectedly just a few years ago, and there are many special memories sparked by certain sounds, scents, objects.   You never know when it will happen...  but it's like a sweet, gentle hug from afar.   I'm glad you have that with your unique and wonderful clocks.

I have 6 of them in my living room.   It sounds like Disney World here on the hour.  I have a total of 60 clocks in the house.  I am addicted.  The nice thing is they are light sensored, and they automatically stop when it is dark.  I have gotten so used to them, I find them comforting.  I have a clock in my kitchen that moo's on the hour.  ( A cow)   Everyone that comes here laughs at that one.

I love it!  60 clocks that have music, I would be a basket case! It is nice that you have your clocks for comfort.  I tried the bird clock and it drove my cat nuts so it had to go.

Re: Clocks that play music on the hour?

I always wanted a grandfather clock. My girlfriend got one. It was really nice. Was at her house and it started to chime and I liked it. After a while I asked if it went 24hrs a day. It did. I knew it wasn't for me.

Re: Clocks that play music on the hour?

I have one that I love.  I got it at a clock shop in Solvang.  There are lots of options.  I have it set so it goes off on the hour, between 6 am and 10 pm.  It plays 16 tunes, that I switch to Christmas tunes between Thanksgiving and New Year's Day.  It can also play different types of chimes. And of course, the volume is adjustable. I have it on low

@happygolfcartrider  That is funny about your cat.  I think the bird clock was one of my first ones.  The cheaper clocks are in my kitchen.  The expensive ones are in Living Room.  The rest are in a back bedroom.  I have my room and guest bedroom that only ave quiet clocks.  I had a guy lay carpet in here for me a few years ago and when he saw them, he started collecting them.
