!maybe sales are down and they were blaming it on Amy.  The truth is the quality of Clark's has deteriorated to the point where many people will no longer buy them.  I know I've had several bad experiences.

I used to buy Clark's regularly but stopped a few years ago when the fit was off on so many I ordered. I grew tired of wasting money returning so I avoid them now. I did purchase a pair of those famous cloudstepper thong sandals at Marshall's for 1/2 the price qvc was charging.

My take on this and I have no knowledge of why decisions were made - I really liked Amy and was sorry to see her go.  She had so much knowledge and was able to present it in an easy to understand manner.  But...Many people complain about hosts talking so much about their family on air and Amy was one that also did that.  Plus the book and book signings.  She was overlapping her private life with her personal life during QVC Clark presentations.  Maybe Clark's didn't like that.  I didn't realize how much she shared about her life until I saw the other rep Ilana and realized I know nothing about her.  Maybe Clarks wanted her to focus more on their shoes and not what she was doing outside of work.   I will miss Amy and her presentations and wish her the best going forward.

You may be on to something here. Qvc seems to want the hosts to be like family to their viewers by relating personal family business. Perhaps, that is not how Clark's want their vendors to present. However, I would think they would tell her that as a warning before letting her go. It just may have been her talking about authoring a few books and book signing. That seemed like she was using her presentation to further her other career as a writer.

I like Amy but the current rep has been at Clark’s longer than Amy & quite knowledgeable. All companies are down sizing. I’d not worry about Amy as her husband is a successful doctor, she has a lovely home & adorable kids. On her public FB she states she was shocked but has been enjoying time with her family. She was at the US Open & looked quite well. I’m sure she’ll reinvent herself & she has many contacts. She’s young & will have many opportunities.
