Christmas Gift Baskets Request

Is it possible for QVC to offer Christmas Gift Baskets, with items either curated by QVC or items selected by the customer for the Gift Basket?  I have been purchasing individual items for several years, putting them into gift baskets for family & friends & mailing to them.  It has become very expensive & labor intensive.  I'd really like to just be able to order a QVC Christmas Gift Basket of products & do Bill To Ship To  I've decided in the future that I'm just going to order Christmas Gift Baskets from somewhere & have them mailed directly.  I'd really like to still offer the QVC Christmas products, but just don't want the expense or extra work anymore, so will probably order from somewhere else in the future..

Since the OP put this request into the suggestion box, I'd say she's asking QVC.

You said it was expensive and labor intensive and you didn't want to do it anymore. If you don't want to do it what makes you think QVC is going to do that? Besides, there would always be products in the basket that the receiver doesn't want or can't use.

@teagal7  I like this suggestion.  I have seen gift baskets in various stores that are great to give people we will see in person, but still would be a lot of work for us if we have to find a box to fit the basket, seal it, take to postoffice, pay postage.  QVC could start with a couple of filled baskets and see how shoppers respond.  Of course, they already offer sets of products (food items---nuts, tea, cookies, etc) which make nice "bill to ship to" gifts.

Sorry to say this, but they sell many gift sets during the holidays.   For a huge corporation like QVC to take something like individual gift baskets on, the cost would be prohibitive and they'd have to have seasonal staff to do it.  ROI would probably be negative.

Re: Christmas Gift Baskets Request

Gift basket fulfillment is a whole retail business with an entirely different business model. QVC will not be doing this.

There are Gift Basket companies online. Yes, you would have to pick packages that do not have QVC curated product in them. Usually most will not have household name items in them, the items are procured at low prices in bul for high volume fulfillment.

Maybe buy a gift or a gift set and not a gift basket going forward if you truly want QVC.

It's a nice thought but many items QVC sell like in the food and beauty categories ship directly from the vendor. To try and curate a gift basket with items from different brands doesn't sound possible.

Aside from all the reasons given here why it would not work for personalized gift baskets. The main problem I see is delivery. Can you imagine the stress you would have not knowing how long it will be "in process" and when it would move to being "shipped", yet not knowing when it would actually get there.
