The dates when threads are started in the subject line.  That we would how old a thread is before opening it.  TIA

I know what you are saying. Sometimes you do not want to comment on a thread that is more than a few days old. On the other hand, there are sites (citydata, for one) where the threads never end.

I totally agree.  There are times when I look at a title and think Gee, that person thinks the same way I do.  I open it to find it was me, from several months ago.  And those people that dig up a bunch of old threads for the heck of it?  Ban them forever.
