I have noticed that the 3 or 4 quart "chicken fryer" pans that Cooks Essentials includes in their cookware sets no longer have the helper handles.  A pan of this capacity with food in it is too heavy without the help of another handle.  PLEASE!!!!!!!

Yes, they are needed for safety. I have had heavy skillets flip on me and the result was not pretty!

You may want to look online for a commercial line of pots&pans, Update International SuperSteel. These P&P have helper handles and great prices.
