Bringing back the ignore feature

Would you please consider bringing this back? Thank you!

Re: Bringing back the ignore feature

The mods have stated this feature won't be coming back.  It's not available in the software package they have to support these forums.

Personally, I think that's a bunch of nonsense.  LOL

May I ask please, what is an ignore feature?

Is that where you  can- block - out some postings from your view?  If that description is correct - I sure would love to have it.

Re: Bringing back the ignore feature

I've read several times the ignore feature on the old forum setup either isn't available or isn't compatible with the current program.

I didn't participate here with the old program, so never saw ignore in use. But it sounds useful!

So I keep my own imaginary ignore button.

The first person on my imaginary list was banned.

I'll just ignore the other two.

Works very well.

I loved the IGNORE button years ago.  Fortunately, the "three amigos" who pounced on everyone's post have been banned.  Are there more that need to go?

Re: Bringing back the ignore feature

There used to be a few people that I would have liked to ignore.  Now there really isn't anyone here like that, at least not in the threads that I read.

@seaBreeze  - Maybe the three amigos were resurrected from the dead and came back under new names with new attitudes?  Smiley Happy

Didn't realize there was ever an ignore feature (long before my time). Unfortunately, a few posters have recently made me realize what a wonderful feature it must have been. I've found we're never too old to suddenly learn new things. Doesn't take long for some of them to get the hint and disappear. Life goes on just fine without them.

@Mistic

The ignore feature was to block a poster from responding to your posts. I’m asking Santa for it 😊

I hope I can be nice until Christmas.
