I agree with you.  If I never saw anything else made of polyester spandex, I'd be happy.

 

They also used to offer wonderful collections in raw silk --- beautiful colors and coordinating pieces.

 

No longer.  Just clothing that wouldn't rot in a landfill.

I have the Bob Mackie Egyptian scarf...but also the beautiful tunic & tank that are of the same pattern. However, it’s a 3x....& now I’m a 1x/2x. It is so sheer & delicate, but has such vibrant colors!

I remember when Mackie only sold silk scarves and no other products on Q when he first came on. My favorite scarf I have of his is one with a lot of dogs on it and his own dog at the time had a place of honor in the center of the scarf. Customers were urged to frame his scarves and there were always framed scarves of his hanging on the walls on set.
