There are some posters that dont want any criticism of QVC at all even if it is constructive, and as QVC customers we have the right to give our feedback on the company. This is the SUGGESTION BOX afterall, and if QVC did not want feedback they would not have put this topic on the Forums.
What they need to do is contact QVC and have them clean up the Q WE LOVE topic so they will have a place where they can just rave about how great and perfect QVC is and how much they love all the hosts and everything about QVC and think nothing but nice, positive thoughts and knock themselves out!

I know ....lets have two boards....one for only Nice people and one for Mean people...then the perfect ones would only have to read the Nice board and ignore the Mean board. Then their day would be all sunshine and flowers...and they would then not be able to admonish people who have a right to a negative opinion.

If a poster has posted nothing but negative comments and insults during her entire posting history (aimed at the hosts), why is the poster still watching QVC if it sets her off so much? It just boggles the mind that some can put so much time, effort and energy into a message board.
Which posters are QVC employees, employees from other shopping networks and which are aliens from another planet? Since the OP "got some info before the post", she must have reliable knowledge no one else is privy to. Please enlighten us so we can be aware of those posters.

QVC obviously has people posting here. What gets me is that they are very selective about when they post. There was a comment in Suggestion Box or Q Did What--can't remember which one--and a QVC customer service rep logged on to address it. Why pick that post to respond in when there are so many others here that warrant a response as well?
I really don't like the way the companies & QVC are using YouTube bloggers here as plants to drum up support for products. I don't mind it when a person from a company (like the guy from Bose) comes here to the Community to address concerns, and I actually welcome that, but I think it crosses the line when QVC's minions are here to drum up sales and positive publicity.

But would there be anyone on the nice one? LOL Any board I've ever been on the fighting threads are always much longer than the others.

I don't know that, but it wouldn't surprise me at all. After moderating on a large board for almost 10 years and seeing how badly 'businesses' behave nothing shocks me. We call those people 'shills' and if we find them they get banned as well as the company gets censored. LOL, I imagine that wouldn't happen here.
I like a lot of Q's stuff, but that doesn't make me a shill. I'm more questioning of one post wonders (for or against) myself.

I'm convinced there are shills posting on the forums, people compensated one way or another to offer enthusiastic promotion for certain products or product lines. And some compensated to post negative reviews, too. From reading threads over time, I believe not all are compensated by QVC. Some promote lines which aren't sold by the Q, or they come here to recount horror stories about QVC products. Many of them do so a bit more subtly so their posts aren't removed and their accounts aren't quickly banned.
It's effective. It's easy to read a rave review of a product and want to try it, even when the review is by an anonymous poster on a chat board. In the same way, an anecdote about a terrible experience often causes us to change our minds about a purchase. This is happening everywhere, with reviews of mobile apps in the App Store, or hotels and resorts on travel sites, or apartment complexes, or even your local physicians -- any product or service you might look up on the Internet before purchasing or patronizing.
I've read a number of articles about this growing problem. Companies and consumer protection agencies are trying to combat it, but it's a complex issue.

There's even articles about famous authors that admit they have 'friends' leave good reviews. Leaving bad reviews of your competition is also a problem on my board.
LOL, I remember how shocked I was about all this so many years ago. Ethics are low for some apparently. Of course there are a lot of over enthused buyers also.
While I'm a temptations fan I rarely will even open any of the threads anymore. We could just copy and paste one argument into almost every complaint or gushing of how great it is.
I post 90% in the food forum as that's where my interest is. I hit and miss this one and TSV forum.
I post a lot in support of their rules as mostly I get a lot of complaints of how lousy our rules are, I should do this I should do that. Go find someplace else to be happy. It's the same everywhere, some people complain about everything. I don't even know who most of the people they're complaining about are.
