Blue Jean Chef Tongs

I got these yesterday and I really like them.  I have a set for non stick pans but wanted a set for the grill and other pans and these really fit the bill. 

 

Meredeth's tongs are very sturdy and weighty but the box they came it was too weak to handle the heft and was torn in several places, including the address label AND my receipt that was glued to the outside of the box.  I was lucky that the tongs weren't damaged but I stronly suggest a stonger box or but them in another box for shipment.  And, like a lot of people here, I wish QVC would STOP with the sticky labels!  Mine was torn to shreds because of where the box got damaged.  This is a really bad policy and I wish the powers that be would smarten up and listen to us!  :smileyfrustrated:
