Beauty Day not so beautiful!

I don't know what's going on at QVC, but there was definitely the feeling of disorganization all day today! .......I can't even imagine what all is involved in producing something of this size for such a big buying audience, but it was not the best one I've ever seen!

Some of it was the guests, I know....I actually thought Josie was on something by the time her first appearance was over. But, at times it seemed like the guests were more serious than the hosts!! Everything was so rushed, and guests appearing and reappearing later, didn't help to keep anyone calm! It overflowed into Patti's Tignanella show....I've never heard a guest apologize so many times in one hour!! Patti didn't seem inclined to help her out either. The guest may have been ditzy, and the show may have been snakebit, but the Host should always make them feel comfortable! It was nearly the end of the show before she loosened up, and explained that the set was falling apart, and they were cold! and she isn't the only one that's complained of that since you've changed the lights...probably need to do something about that!

I used to be able to tune into QVC, years ago, when Kathy Levine, etc., was on...then I couldn't get it for several years. I moved, and was happy to be able to get it again. It's been fun to see the old hosts, get familiar with the new ones, and see what's new about QVC in general! There seems to be a lot more casualness than I remember, and that's not always good. Feels like there's no one in charge....like today.

Also, your quality control is costing you money, but it's also costing your customers money! And they don't like it. Getting everything from China has not been a good idea....but if you are going to do that, you NEED to be sure that they are making things the same every time! Who DOES check these things? If one pair of pants can be 4" shorter than another pair of the same size...what kind of trust can anyone have in ordering any garment at all? Or the company that seemingly doesn't care, because it keeps happening?

Maybe the problem is you have professionals, AND amateurs.....and on a big special day, it shows up the difference! Well, the day is done, and you've survived...not sure I have! And some of the hosts will probably have a breakdown...the surprise is who will learn from it!
