Re: Awful presentation

[ Edited ]

@ValuSkr said...  I was trying to think of something "typically male" that one of the female hosts could sell, but could only come up with an athletic supporter, and I don't think QVC sells them.

I don't like the way Steve Doss is being treated at the Q. It's disrespectful to him.

He is not being treated like a full fledged host. Instead, he's being treated like an errand boy for the other hosts.

He seems a very nice person who is being taken advantage of. He is treated like no other full fledged host. The Q should give him all responsibility and let him sink or swim like all the other new hosts.

I just feel sorry for him every time I see him. At the very best, right now,, he is one of the weakest hosts I've ever seen at the Q. The Q isn't keeping him for the right reasons.

It seems as if the newest hosts are getting more and more prime time shows.  I know they have to get experience, but really!  When they're not comfortable yet, and just repeating other hosts, word for word, especially where the TSV is concerned, it's awkward for everyone!  I saw Steve with Valerie Parr Hill, and he was very good.  No excessive fawning, just allowing Valerie to take the lead occasionally, so I think he'll be fine.  But swimwear - really QVC?

Not for me.  He's doing quite well.

David needs to stop with the big bite Steve. It's condescending, passive aggressive and David knows it.

Countless men design women's clothes and do a great job.

Countless men sell women's clothes, makeup, etc etc.

I don't care if they are male or female as long as they can do their job.

Come on, it's 2023, not 1950.

I watched Steve and Bitsy on Q2 last night,

it was a pleasure

no silly talking just a discussion about the clothing

A good sales person can adapt easily and effortlessly into any situation they are asked too by management.  Steve fits into that category.  He has a very good future with QVC (if the company survives)

regardless of gender, I think Q needs more hosts presenting across all the categories.

they have most hosts boxed in to 1 or 2 things,
