There are hundreds of items on the website that never get an airing.  Why not?  And I cannot understand who the target audience is for QVC. Those $100 embroidered shorts?? Who does that appeal to?  QVC gets less interesting by the day.

At least HSN, which I much prefer, has decent sales.

Because there are items on the website that are using QVC as a distribution point. They’re usually brand names and most likely don’t have the quantities needed to be presented on tv &/or don’t come in all sizes. They do, however, benefit from being on QVCs website, just as many things you don’t find at Walmart are on their website. They’re also trying to find items that have an appeal to new customers. So if someone was looking for embroidered denim and searches online, the results may include the $100 shorts which may result in a sale for QVC and a new customer. There are a lot of posts saying there’s nothing new or different on QVC and I am glad they’re trying out new things no matter what the price. It’s going to sell to someone, especially with ez pay.

They seem to be distilling themselves down to the same tired vendors on BOTH channels...hours of repetitive programming....

Myabe vendors are leaving because, at the prices of this Walmart or Target quality stuff, not many are buying, and they are going elsewhere ( the vendors AND the customers)...

O well.

It's become a rich source of comedy for me....my own fault...I know how to cook so don't fall for the ridiculous prices of their "food" (  prepared glop I call it...)... and have enough cabin socks to last a lifetime ( one set of three...OVER hyped like all thier stuff lately).

And I don't wear clown clothes....when's the Big Top get to town???? ( HSN in particular...WOWWEE!!! Clown central!!!)

O well. Soon it'll be Sherpa time again...jackets, lounge sets, purses, frying pans....

Sherpa Sherpa Sherpa!!!

I'm hoping they come up with a Sherpa maxi-dress, with tiered ruffles, printed in garish clown costume prints ...with long sleeves with thumbholes...

Paired with ugly orthopedic shoes and thick black cabin knee socks.

Slip on shoes of course...for the kidult who finds tying shoes too difficult to master!!!

The perfect look for today's up-talking, baby talkin' pigeon toed stanced woman...!!!

( Hey...at least they are still SELLING shoes.....the way things are going, pretty soon shoes for women will disappear.....what with the helpless "Little House on the Prairie" look ( in the kitchen where they belong, a snippin'  them green beans for supper with their Mark Charles snips) ... so prevalent today....)

Q... PLEASE don't go off the air ( at least until the writer's strike is over!!!)... You're all I  got left, because unlike others, all the other channels I could switch to are WORSE!!!!

I can't listen to news/politics/murders/animal abuse/ people abuse/ etc for one more second, so Q is what's left!!!

The day they start talking about anything more bland and banal than made up colors or the quantity left or how many morsels of glop Big Bite ate on David's show, I guess my TV will go black...

Well I know exactly how the OP feels. My favorite movie channel shows nothing but Westerns on Saturdays. Westerns! The nerve of them.

Yes, it is tiring.  Very tiring.  Watching TSV's are in the past for me; although, I did watch CCB because after the TSV, some of her new items were presented.

I like her, some of her classic line and she's easy to watch. Surprisingly, they fit me better than any other designer on QVC now; however, a lot of her tops are too short for me.  So far, the quality has been good for the price.

I did buy her eyelet shirt in blue on white.  Something different, unique to a classic styled shirt.  I hope I like it.

I am sure QVC and HSN know TSV's are boring all day long, but people tune in at different times and may see it for the first time.

The point is to get those buyers tuning in at different times, so the TSV is presented throughout the day.  I'm sure QVC is making a good amount of money from their TSV's or they would stop them.

What do many TV viewers do when they tire of a TV series and repeats in the summer?  They stop watching, look for something else to do or find another TV program they like.
