Anyone could go to a local independent bakery and buy several dozen cookies for that price. I, for one, would never pay what QVC is charging for this item and I can easily afford to. I (sometimes lol) just use common sense when spending.
It is all about how YOU chose to spend your money. It doesn't make your choices better or that YOU use common sense and the next person doesn't. I go to Starbucks almost everyday. My drink costs $6.95 the next person may not choose to spend their money that way. It doesn't mean I don't have common sense. It is about what I enjoy and how I choose to spend MY money.

I think that the real issue is that the OP insisted that QVC STOP! offering the items. How then would we decide if it's a value we want? QVC can surely offer all the options it desires.
She wants it totally her way. No options.
