Ankle Boots Heel Height Request

I am hoping that the Q will bring in some leather ankle boots with a lower heel height of about 1 to 1-1/2 inches.   2" to 3" are just too high for me.  They look great on others and I know the higher heel is very popular, but I am hoping to find a leather ankle boot with a lower heel (but not flat).

I'm with you. Being tall and having a short DH, I prefer short heels also.  (:

I found some last year, but not on QVC.  I always order shoes from Zappos, shoes.com or shoebuy.com.  They have free shipping and free returns.

I agree.  I've been looking for an ankle boot with a 2- 21/2" heel.  Having broken my ankle last year, I'm kind of not looking forward to the 3" to almost 4" heels on boot footwear.  Not yet, anway.

Isaac Mizrahi has a few lower heeled ankle boots. One was shown yesterday. I need the lower heel also so I remembered this presentation. Don't know the item number but it would hopefully come up in a search.

I am with you, after 2 total knee replacements, I need a lower heel, I am drooling over some of these boots but will not buy! Please bring in some, we will by QVC!

I agree! I can't wear anything with a heel over 2 inches.  I have bad ankles. I've sprained both ankles multiple times.

FWIW.......

If you go to the search field at the top of the website & type in ankle boot, you will find that QVC has a lot of low to flat heeled ankle boots.

They had them; for the past three years.  White Mountain suede ankle boots, with a 2 inch hee.  A nice stable heel.  I now have 4 pairs, they are well made  and fashionable.  I was hoping that this year's version would have been smooth leather but suede was ok.  QVC is really into trendy, fashion forward shoes now.  It's disappointing but they seem to be moving away from shoes that feel and look good on my 55 year old feet.  I'm okay with it, I'll go back to buying my shoes from a couple of catalogs I still receive.  Thank heaven's!
