Its not just seniority although that plays a role. If a host constantly has sales spike, QVC will boost them into a better time slot. Its all about sales and profits after all. No one starts out in primetime. Hosting a live program is a lot harder than people think. But if he's building a bond with the audience, he will do well. He also is flexible enough to do the usual female skewing shows. You don't see Rick or Dan selling makeup or female clothing. Alberti has been put in t hose slots and that will give him a lot more flexibility. Veteran and successful hosts (whether you like them or not) like Rick and Lisa have dominated prime time. Shawn moved up very quickly too. Now that Lisa is leaving, you're going to have 3 hours of primetime open up. Also certain big name guests only like working with certain hosts and have a rapport when that happens. Like most jobs, its not just one factor but if you generate sales, you will do well. If I were you, Id email QVC also (and tweet and Facebook them) about how much you like him. Those things matter too

alberti is a blessing to the fashion segments he should replace the scattered fumbling leah on am style on saturdays at the very least she is slaughtering all the shows lately with her bad descriptions and poor camera cues

She turned me off when she thought the camera was off her as they were going to a break but it wasn't and the way she acted was a bit pathetic. Alberti is professional.I missed that scene with Courtney. Exactly how did she act?
