Albany Irvin on Quacker Factory Sunday

Just happened to turn on the Q sunday and Albany was host. Did not stay long to see

what was showing because Albany was so out of line I turned it off.

First of all it looked like she was hanging onto the rack. Then she talked about herself instead of the piece that was for sale.

Where does  Q get these people?

Re: Albany Irvin on Quacker Factory Sunday

Qvc used to be about selling clothes and giving us all details of certain items and the information was so helpful.  Now we have to endure the Host Show it's all about me.

Please QVC tell your host to calm down and sell the product.  The talking over each other is RUDE and since I can't  understand anything anyone is  saying I turn the channel.

If you read the post please pass it on to the producers.

Re: Albany Irvin on Quacker Factory Sunday

Albany threw Angel off her stride, and she was unable to be her best. It was an unbalanced presentation.

Albany needs to slow it down, breathe, don't be concerned about entertaining people, just show the merchandise.  Let angel talk. She knows the products inside out.

I didn't see any issues with yesterday's show.

Re: Albany Irvin on Quacker Factory Sunday

There have so many threads on this topic so I decided to take a look at a few of the videos for myself.

I can see why this is being said about AI but in all fairness IMO Angel was also talking off topic and taking the attention quite often away from the items being shown.

I think the combination of AI and Angel may be the real distraction for many posters. They are both witty and funny and want to interject their commentary into the presentation. I don't see where Angel was uncomfortable or taken off her 'stride'. They seem to be having a great time.

I'm not an AI fan but from what I saw she is not the only one that was being chatty. She did a great job of steering the conversation back to the item even when Angel or herself were talking about other things.

I'm not real fond of Albany as a host.  I can only watch her for a very short period of time -- and sometimes not at all.  Her shtick is beyond old.  I agree with the other posters who say she needs to stop trying to be so funny and entertaining.  I don't find her to be either of these things -- funny or entertaining.  Being too full of one's self is far from a positive character trait.

Yeah, Albany was really hyper. I do notice that she really has toned down the flirting.

I remember a month or two ago she was presenting WEN and she was running her hands through all the male models' hair. It was like WHOA!.....settle down. LOL

I didn't see anything wrong either, in fact, the part of the show I saw was informative, fun, and entertaining. I thought both Angel and Albany did a great job.

Angel has been working to keep off the weight she lost before her wedding and she looks great. And Albany's legs...they go on for miles!  She looked fantastic in those jeans.
