Again, PLEASE QVC - improve product description on line

Used to I could always rely on excellent product descriptions on-line, but they are getter shorter and shorter and leaving out more and more pertinent information.  I had seen a new Affinity Gems ring on line that I had in my Wish List and the description simply said "opal".  I only purchase Ethiopian Opals, and once I saw the presentation late last evening and Caroline with Affinity Gems said it was an Ethiopian Opal, I immediately tried to purcahse in my usual size 9 in the gold over sterling and, of course, it was already sold out with no waitlist.  Had the online description said it was an Ethiopian opal, I would have preordered.  Why are the descriptions getting so short, leaving out detailed information necessary to make an informed purchase ahead of presentations?  After over 30 years shopping with QVC, I am really, really disappointed and getting quite exasperated!

The Q needs to buy an educated AI bot if they can't hire a person to provide the information.

Type in a question under the product and ask it anything you want to know.  The AI they use is excellent and gives me any info I'm looking for.

It used to be that the hosts gave *all* the details about the item...down to the measurements of the jewelry. Those days are long gone. 😔

There's always a lot to be thankful for if you take time to look for it.
For example, I am sitting here thinking how nice it is that wrinkles don't hurt.

I want to know details about a gemstone, diamond, etc. If they don't provide it, I can only assume it's not a quality stone.

It's the same with clothes, electronics, and everything else Q sells. Rarely do we hear fabric content, year/version, and other pertinent details.

I don't buy if I don't have all the info I want.

I've asked questions at the bottom of the page before but never received answers.

All the missing information and oddball on-air behavior tells me Q doesn't really care if I buy from them.

Re: Again, PLEASE QVC - improve product description on line

Temp-tations leaves product specs, especially measurements, off their listings. I’ve gone to the Q&A section repeatedly to ask for clarification, only to find the same questions already asked by other frustrated shoppers. It’s not just a one-off, it’s a pattern.

What’s most disappointing is the total silence from QVC and the vendor. Questions go unanswered, even when they’re straightforward and repeated. Meanwhile, Tara and her colleague are regularly doing Facebook Live videos, playful and lighthearted, sure, but it’s hard not to feel that time could be better spent addressing essential product info that affects what we buy.

I don’t mind creative engagement, but basic transparency should come first. Specs aren’t optional; they’re necessary.

I am watching Valerie Parr Hill. The show is almost over, and not once have I heard them mention size or amount of batteries used in the items. If I have to search for info on my own, it's a "no thanks."

I shop only online with QVC! I quit watching along time ago. I used to love online because description was so detailed and thourough.  Not any more.  It doesn't do any good to call QVC either, because the agents don't know anymore than we do. They see same info
