I will be brief and to the point...Please,Please,give Bob Mackie a host that will let him talk. When I saw Jackie Gonzalas today with Bob Mackie..I almost turned the T.V. off. Let me tell you why....she talks incessantly and I so much want to hear what he has to say.I kept the show on mute until he spoke,but she would not let him get 2 words in.She appears to think I am watching to see her,I am not!

Absolutely! Bob has forgotten more about fashion than Jacque will ever know. Usually Bob is pretty good at tactfully directing his comments despite the hosts' rudeness. He should have told her to shut up during a break. I'm not a big Sandra Bennett fan but she is very good with Bob and Louis Del Olio.

I don't buy Bob Mackie, too much like cruise wear for my every day existence,but you are so right about Jacque . I don't think Bob moves along fast enough for her and she wants to try to get us to buy as much as possible from her show. I always enjoyed Jacque as a host, but since she lost weight and grew her hair out I noticed she's more aggressive.

I think they push and encourage the hosts to be loud, frenzied and aggressive. You could almost pinpoint the day several years ago when normally nice, well-behaved hosts turned into sales monsters. Jacque, who was a mild-mannered breath of fresh air as a newbie, underwent a very noticeable metamorphosis and has gotten even worse since.

The vendors are there to sell items and make money. The hosts are there to sell items and move the shows along. I seriously doubt BM gives it any thought as long as he's raking in money.

I TOTALLY AGREE! Jacque is an extremely attractive girl (I say girl & not woman because she acts like an immature 13 year old). However, she just keeps talking & talking and making completely irrelevant, inane, & inappropriate comments, when clearly she has nothing of substance to add. It's like she thinks she's going to be accused of not doing her job if she's not talking non-stop & holding her own with guests. So, even in the absence of anything relevant or intelligent to add, she feels the need to chime in. As a result she usually says the most ridiculous, unintelligent, & inappropriate things. A lot of the time they are completely unrelated to the topic at hand and it usually makes me cringe. I could not believe some of the stuff she said to Bob Mackie. Also, she clearly thinks she is his pier when really she is not. No matter how nice and patient he may be to her, she really needs to show him some respect & just be quiet. I too was appalled by her comments to Bob Mackie. She acts like such a foolish ninny. ...Bob Mackie is clearly a gentleman though and deserves a medal for putting up with her. In the end, she really just embarrasses herself & makes herself look ridiculous. I personally can't take how hyper and loud she's gotten. And the silliness & cackling, OMG, make it stop!!!

one of the main reasons I quit watching QVC at all is due to the nonstop talking over the vendors by the hosts; Jackie wasn't always like this although others were......sometimes it is the vendor who never shuts up (SG!) but I always enjoyed seeing Bob Mackie and listening to his comments about his clothes that are presented....I imagine he is too much of a gentleman to be rude and try and drown out the host.....but you do wonder if they just will avoid dealing with it altogether and make fewer appearances.
