I have bought two wigs from the two wig vendors on QVC.  Both times I bought the lightest silver they had.  Both times I had to send them back, not because I didn't like them, but because they were hardly light silver!  They are exactly that muddy colored gray hair no woman likes.  I have WHITE HAIR.  I need a wig because I am losing so much of it at the top of my head. 

Vendors . . . please make WHITE HAIR WIGS!!  Thank you.

I have the best results ordering from Paula Young ,Vogue Wigs  the #60. My hair is white as snow and I have a close match. If I use a blue shampoo the match is not as close but will work. Wiglets are  great and have used them as well as the wraps. All of them are alot of fun and you can get out the door in minutes which I love......

I ordered this wig and I'd better like it because they won't accept a return in anything but "new" condition . . . in other words, one can't unwrap it and try it on.  There is also a restocking fee if one sends it back even with the above criteria!!  I'll get it in five to seven days and I'll let you know what happens!  Chances are I'll keep it no matter what.  I like the darker part at the top, and the rest of it is very white, like my hair, so fingers crossed.  Thanks for the heads up!

I have a friend who wears Paula wigs all the time.  She takes them to her hairdresser and has them custom cut and styled.

Didn't work for me.  I removed the tag, so I can't return it.  I wanted it for "let's go now" occasions after my surgery.  Just did not work for me.  It is not as white as my hair either.

@LilacTree  I have several Paula young hair pieces( not full wigs) and buy the white. I wear them all the time. The color is not an exact match.... are a little bit off...I am white like you, but, they are close enough and if I blend some of my hair in to them they look good.

This is a long wig, and I have very long hair (down my back), so I can pull a lot of white through it, I'm hoping.  I'm also going to straighten it because I doubt a 79 year old woman is going to look good with "curls."  We'll see.  I'll lose a lot of money if I end up not liking it, but you like yours, so I will probably like this one too.

Have you checked their websites?     This may be another case of QVC limiting what the vendor can offer.

I can't recall the beauty vendor now, but someone said that they offer 14 shades of foundation, but only 5 or 6 are offered on QVC.  

 It might be worth checking their sites for other wig colors.
