I have written many letters over the years to all different people to let my voice be heard. Some responded , many didn't. However, like signing a petition, I did my part even if it wasn't going to make a difference. I do what I believe in.
If writing the letter gave you a sense of doing something you believe in, good for you. The posters who state the Q is only interested in sales and profit and will do what they want to get customers, are right. However, if you feel strongly about the situation, there isn't anything wrong with sending a letter.

I have a question.....when a store (of any kind) stops selling a product you buy do you never go into the store again? When a cosmetics company stops selling the color lipstick you love do you never buy that brand again? This happens all the time. I am not defending QVC but they are in business to make money. If for some reason or other they find a brand to not be profitable it will be dropped. These hosts are not your friends they are sales people who are there for one reason to sell, nothing else. I am sure if you look around there are other lines of clothing that meet your standards. QVC is not the only game in town.

I think all decisions are financial. Look at the hosts that are no longer there. I tuned in which I rarely do and see no one I recognize and then personally I see those who if I were in charge I would never have hired.

@lrmuffin I almost completely stopped buying at QVC when Sharon Faetsch left, so I've already been where you are. She was one of the few who described well, was my size, and didn't go on and on about something silly. It was a very big disappointment and sort of a last straw moment.
Regarding Linea, I also hate when something I rely on is discontinued or sold to some big corporation. I will say, though, that Linea shows were much more dynamic when he was there. I enjoyed hearing about how he created jewelry designs from things he saw on his travels. I tried watching his FB videos, but it just wasn't the same. So I sort of feel like that was the beginning of the end. Even so, fingers crossed that Linea supporters like you can make a difference.
And finally, I don't know why QVC can't have a boutique brand that doesn't sell products in huge numbers. In fact, that's the uniqueness I think they are missing now. Maybe they want to be another Overstock.com.

@Tadaki , thank you for your kind words. I liked Sharon as well. I don't watch much live QVC anymore, just videos if I liked the products. They got rid of a lot of good hosts.
