@AJW You'll begin to learn after a while who to avoid and ignore.

I tend to avoid starting any threads of this nature for good reason. I would have to go all the way back and view ALL of my posts to make sure I wasnt being hypocritical. @Moonchilde you brought up a good point regarding hypocricy) I certainly could not point fingers or lecture the masses...the finger I point at the crowd might be bent right back to point at me.....and I would hope that would happen.
is ok to disagree with someone or "hate" something. Snark is not the same as disagreement and sometimes we use those "catch phrases" to deflect away from our own personal responsibility on a matter. I know if I ever started a thread that shakes a tree that the acorns will fall where they lay. I am sorry I am sometimes not a good writer and am aware that the interpretation of written word is up to the reader of it. Seems for me every time I drive down a muddy road I tend to get stuck "in the mud" LOL

Ladies ... when the new forum format started, I noticed that when we "asked" for changes, we usually got our request granted.
Let's ask for QVC to reinstall the IGNORE feature.
Then those who believe Webster's meaning of the word DISCUSSION is TO BE HATEFUL AND CRUEL, we can simply delete. Problem solved.

They didn't take away the ignore feature, we've been told the new software doesn't have one, so it's not an option. We just have to use mental ignore.

Hello, AJW.
As bad as this may sound, you may just have to walk on eggshells when you post on this forum. A lot of people are rather mean to each other and then they get hearts by their clique for doing so.
Most posters gets treated badly because:
A. They have a low post count
B. You didn't say something nice about a product they love
C. They've been being mean and rude to people for so long without getting their posts deleted, they probably figure there's no point in stopping now.
Not being mean to you and not trying to tell you what to do, just letting you know that this is how these forums work. Hope you find a nice group of people to post with on these forums.

Oh for crying out loud, I am so tired of all the holier than thou preaching from those who get their feelings hurt from posts on a shopping channel forum. Come on people, I'm sure you've been through much more in your life time than a few snarkey comments from a poster. Again 1st world problems. IMO. LOL

@ajw wrote:I don't understand why some people who participate in the forums need to respond with such 'barbed' comments. We all think differently, have differing opinions on day-to-day events, people etc etc. But some posters seem to have a need to jump all over another person's post, just because they disagree! Heaven forbid! Why not just respond, but in a polite, or joking way, not in the sometimes spiteful way I've seen occasionally. Just asking! There's enough hatred in the world, without making the forums hateful too!! For example, I like Logo, lots of people don't, I can't stand some hosts, I watch QVC on an 'as-needed' basis! Sometimes I just need to 'veg-out', but I certainly don't need to hear any spiteful comments about my preferences.
Please ladies, lets be more courteous to each other. This interaction may be the only one they have every day, if they live alone maybe, or can't get out of the house.
@AJW You are correct and I agree with you! Watch out though, everything you have ever said on these forums will be thrown back up at you and it will be done with great pleasure by one ot two. They will even get a bit testy with you to start an argument, kind of like high schoolers do. Be tough, ignore them.

You can Ignore someone if you want .... you don't need a button to be able to do that .... just ignore them. Problem solved.
