I completely stopped watching Lisa, just because of those 2 phrases. I was so sick of hearing it, & her phoniness. If she comes on, I turn the channel immediately no matter what she is selling. I don't want to hear/see her.

I love to watch fashion, skin care, beauty, and with her three hours here and there, I try not to allow her to make me miss what I like. She and her nonsense are hard to take. I wish they would rotate her to vacuums, cooking or outdoor stuff. She needs to be rotated as she is not the only vendor. Give others a try and many others a break!

Did you ever notice that David ALWAYS has "1200 people (or any ridiculous number) on the phone lines? How does he know how many are on the line?

I guess the producer tells him via the earpiece or they have it on some kind of board. It is just another way to get people to hurry and order.

Yes, there are ways for staff to tell the host how many people are "in the ordering process," but I agree with all of the above comments about over-used phrases.

Re: A dollar a day and practically free

The problem with Lisa is she gets all the best vendors and showtimes, so although I don't particularly care for her or her sales pitches, I'm stuck watching her (unless its a TSV when I have the luxury of tuning in at other times)....Gets old!
