Heart my Giants but the better team won last night.  Congratulations.

We have a great coach so our future looks bright.  They exceeded expectations this year so we'll see what next year brings.

The Giants should be better next year. They just need more talented players. They have the right head coach and GM. There's only so much you can do without better players.  They'll shuffle the roster a bit this offseason and be better. It might take a couple of years to flip the roster and get the players they need, but having the right head coach and GM is huge. There are a lot of teams with bad coaches but more talent that played far worse than the Giants. (Saints, Broncos, Raiders, etc.) Finding the right head coach is huge and the Giants did. Now they just need to give him more weapons.

Re: trying to watch the NY Giants

@gardenman No doubt about the Eagles being better than the Giants in every aspect last night.  Lots of pain...  I was just hoping they would make it a litle deeper in the postseason.

The Giants QB had an impressive start at the Wild Card game, but the Giants showed no defense, and it was obvious even when they won.  In the Wild Card game, the other team played just worse.

Good luck to your team...

Re: trying to watch the NY Giants

It'll be an interesting offseason for the Giants. They need to address a lot of roster issues and improve the overall talent level. They need Evan Neal to improve, a lot.  They have to figure out what to do with Saquon and Daniel Jones.  Not using that fifth-year option on Jones looks a bit stupid now. That would have cost them $11 million, instead they're probably looking at spending $30-$40 million on him. They need linebackers and DBs.  They need Kayvon Thibodeaux to grow up and play smarter. They could use a better center and guards. And wide receivers and tight end.

And because of their record, they'll be drafting later than they probably should be. I believe they're drafting 25th and they really need some top ten talent. They'll be a better team next year, but the record may not show it. Daboll made the best of what he had, but he was mostly using players from the last regime.  This year the roster will start to get flipped more for players who fit his system. In two years, maybe three, they should be pretty formidable. They just have a lot of needs right now.
