The good news for the Giants is they have the right head coach now and can increase the talent level on the roster. Other than maybe running back, the Eagles were simply better at every position on the field.  In terms of player talent, the Giants are in the bottom ten of the league. It's just not a very talented roster. They won what they won by being very well coached. They can add talent in free agency and through the draft and get better each year. Having the right coaches is a very big positive. A talented team with bad coaching (Broncos, Raiders, etc.) will always be bad. A less talented but well coached team will do well until they run into a more talented team that's also well coached. The Eagles are simply better at nearly every roster spot and also well coached.

Back when Shockey was TE for the Giants, I lived in NY and worked in a country club. The manager & me were bitter rivals. When we played your team, @NYCLatinaMe , we lost. My "punishment" was to wear a Giants hat!

DH and I are also rivals with our respective PA teams. He was very gracious last night!

We have a great coach so our future looks bright.  They exceeded expectations this year so we'll see what next year brings.
