That was an interesting finish. First horse over the finish line disqualified. I don't think this has happened before. i was so worried about the horses on that muddy track. It must have been very slippery.

@50Mickey I couldn't believe what I was seeing.  Was out with friends - one whose cousin was one of the sportscasters, he reports for SI. 

The jockeys were wearing up to 25 pairs of goggles because of the mud and splashing. They filpped them back as they ran so they could see.

That mud was so disconcerting.  I really thought one of those gorgeous animals would get hurt.  Thankful they didn't.  Then the ending...Wow...

 

And then there was the Bruins game- Nailbiter-  I think I need a vacation from watching sports right now!
