Congrats on your "sweep" @Spurt but before you celebrate too much, keep in mind that the Cowboys are playing to lose - grab that good draft spot. The Viking win was just an oops. They didn't mean to win that game. I haven't seen the fake punt clip, but from what I read, no coach in their right mind would had called that play, unless they are playing to lose So there you have it.....proof.
Yeah, it could also be proof that we have coo-coo coaches, but for now I'm just
going with the wanting to lose excuse.
We're having the kind of season when you either laugh or you cry.

Every team has flaws and shortcomings. The Steelers/Chiefs may meet in the playoffs before the official AFC Championship game, but whenever they meet it will likely be for the AFC championship. On the NFC side, it's a giant tossup. Whoever is healthy and gets hot will likely win.
Yep, those two in the AFC seemed destined---only a key injury or Co-Vid can stop them..... Meanwhile in the NFC-- coin flip---each has a weakness...

What you say may be true....but then I consider your owner who deep in his heart STILL thinks that your Boyz can still take the NFC Least and proceed further in in the playoffs.... tanking for a top pick, not in his DNA.....
But as I said Zack Martin's injury was a HUGE blow!!! And I think what helped my WFT was the fact that Dan Snyder had been exposed to someone with Co-Vid so he didnt make the trip---his bad luck to the team was wiped out and helped us tremendously.....
That was so sad about the Cowboys trainer--prayers and condolences to his family/friends...

@teganslaw wrote:I got first place in my league on Thanksgiving, thanks to scary Terry , Antonio Gibson and the WFT defense.
Deshaun Watson and Will Fuller helped, also.
Besides Buckner, DE Autry and LB Okereke are out Sunday. Ryan Kelly is questionable, but might play. Rivers didn't practice, but will be ready to go.
The Titans also have some major players out. The problem will be stopping Derrick Henry, so will see how that goes.
Bruce Arians has been critical of Tom Brady lately. One thing might be the Buc's system, which relies on vertical passing and deep throws. Brady is the one mostly calling the plays, though, so he is being held accountable.
One article has some harsh words about the Packers. The writer says that they are pretenders because they have issues with contending teams. Their defense is problematic, and they can't seem to hold leads well. The Colts game is an indication of the problems the Packers face going into the final part of the season. I'm not sure I'd call them pretenders, but they need to fix some things.
I'm so happy to hear that Scary Terry & my WFT helped you get first place--CONGRATS!
I heard one of the analysts make a good point the same one you brought up----how the Bucs offense doesnt fit in with Brady's strengths so they don't have the scheme nor the weapons to make the offense successful....two different paths (Brady's scheme vs Bruce's just not connecting).....
As for the Pack---I wonder if Aaron is getting disgusted and will demand a trade because the front office is failing to add the talent they need to be contenders....

Jerry Jones sure does wear rose colored glasses. He must have many many pairs.
If we had beaten WFT, then I may be sharing some of his optimism, but now I'm
thinking Tank and let Gilbert play the remaining games. Dalton won't be here next season, why continue to play him other than to get him to earn his paycheck? Gilbert has been the best of the back ups to Dalton.
I say give him a chance.
Well that would be very interesting story if Aaron wanted a trade. I use to like him
but not so much lately.

Aaron Rodgers has never had the talent around him that could have let him rewrite the record books. He's special and elevates those around him, but he's never really had the chance to perform at an optimal level. I doubt that the Packers would ever trade him, but they did draft Jordan Love, so who knows? Rodgers is signed through 2023.

The Lions have fired Matt Patricia and Bob Quinn their GM. I'm not very surprised. That Bill Belichick coaching tree gets another limb pruned off. The Jets, Jags, and probably a few other teams are lining up to fire their coaches.

The Lions just beat my WFT on 11/15 and with Co-Vid no training camps, OTAs, visual meetings etc they would have at least given the coaches a little bit of a break and waited until after the season..... The Lions have the same number of wins as the Vikings!!! Poor Matthew Stafford......he's never gotten to play with the talent he deserved either....
I understand the Texans firing in the middle of the season being Bill O'Brien gave away the house and was both GM & Coach and did a lousy job at BOTH jobs!! I thought it was nice of the McNair family to bring in QB Shaun Watson, their franchise player, to ask him about what kind of a coach would he like....

So, this will be interesting. Let's see now. The Lions have no coach or GM. The Ravens have nearly half the roster on the Covid-19 list. The Broncos have no quarterback with all three out of action. And the Niners have no place to play or practice. Yep. Sounds like just the kind of week that's crazy enough for the Eagles to get a win! Whoo-hoo!

James Conner, 2 Steelers Coaches Test Positive For COVID-19
This comes as the Steelers added three players to the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Friday. The team announced that defensive end Stephon Tuitt, defensive tackle Isaiah Buggs and offensive tackle Jerald Hawkins were placed on the list.
The Ravens added six more players to the list on Saturday. The Ravens have now placed 18 players on the list this week, including quarterback Lamar Jackson, who reportedly tested positive for coronavirus.
*dont count on this game getting played necessarily on tuesday night either......*
