SPURT, I read that Snyder is going to evaluate Bruce Allen's status with the team. What is that about? Maybe changes will occur in the off season. Fans can only hope.
There's been speculation that Bruce would be moved from team GM to the Exec in charge of drumming up a new location and funds for a new stadium.....fat chance of that with the team doing as poorly as it has......Some local writers speculate if Snyder did indeed fire Bruce Allen it would spark up the Redskin's fan base....

It's game day! The Eagles take on the Dolphins today in what should be a win for them, but you never know. Alshon Jeffery is back and so is Nelson Agholor. Hopefully, they're both close to full health again. Zach Ertz has a hamstring issue, but seems to feel he'll be able to play. If he's not one hundred percent I'd keep him off the field until he is. We need him more in a few weeks than right now. Get it healthy. Jordan Howard is still out with a shoulder issue. He got a stinger in his shoulder on a hit a few games back and it dinged a nerve that's taking it's good old time regenerating. He doesn't have full strength in that arm until the nerve starts refiring. By and large, the Eagles are fairly healthy for this game.
The coaches seem to have benched Mack Hollins who's been playing the role of DeSean Jackson, but doing so poorly. His last catch was back in September. Now JJ Arcega-Whiteside and Greg Ward seem to be stepping into larger roles and Hollins heads to the bench.
The Eagles are in a softer part of the schedule right now with games against the Dolphins, Giants, and Redskins coming up starting today. NFC East games tend to never be easy, but both the Giants and Redskins don't look all that dangerous right now. In a perfect world, the Eagles would sweep all three of those games and then surge into week sixteen against the Cowboys.
Today's game against the Dolphins will give us the first chance to see if that'll be possible. It looks like it'll be a home game type feeling in Miami as the city has been inundated with Eagles fans flying south for the game. Multiple planeloads of Eagle fans have made the trip, so they may outnumber Dolphin fans this week.
In a perfect world, the Eagles would shut out the Dolphins and score a touchdown on each offensive drive. At the end of the third quarter, the starters could be benched and the backups given some playing time. That probably won't happen. Instead, it'll be a nail-biter to the bitter end. Here's hoping we get the win anyway.

Three weeks in a row we get burned by a trick play. Ugh! Two long, hail mary type passes to Devante Parker (who pushed off to make each catch) and a trick play, but in "real" football we're dominating. Fitzpatrick is a real pain on his better games.

that was one heck of a nail biter!
my daughter was at the game and she was hoping we would be up by a lot so she could leave......43 and raining......snow would have been better than all of that rain!
jtuck to the rescue!!!!! nice time management on the ravens offense.
i could barely watch that kick. 49 yards in the rain is not easy, but he did it!
i can rest a little easier tonight. LOL
they just switched over to the eagles/dolphins game.....i had to do a double take on the score!

Ugh! The Eagles defense was awful in the second half and Fitzpatrick was having one of his good days. There goes the margin of error for the Eagles. They can't lose another game and make the playoffs without a lot of help. Fitzpatrick is one of those QBs who can throw five touchdowns one week and then throw five interceptions the next. We caught him on a five touchdown week.
