The Eagles coaching staff had a great plan to keep Micah Parsons out of the game. He was frustrated all night.

If fan bases get their way, several coaches will be fired. Tampa is calling for Bowles and Leftwich to go, and Green Bay wants LeFleur fired and Rodgers benched. Some Colts fans feel that way whenever the team loses.

And many Washington fans want Ron, Jack and Scott to be shown the door too .........

And now with his finger injury and other ailments Wentz may be out for awhile too...which aint gonna help!!! Some fans that have calling for Heinicke may regret what they wished for......

Well it looks like the Titans are getting a new DOMED stadium, a formal announcement should come today! 800 mill will come from the Titans and the rest from public funding in bonds and tax on all hotel room rentals...and sales tax from the building revenue and surrounding area....

The Titans are smart to build a dome in a warm climate---nice for BOTH the fans and the team.. Being a dome, it would also put Nashville in consideration to host events like the Super Bowl, College Football Playoff National Championship Game, and the Final Four...and their success with the NFL Draft shows Nashville can handle big events---oh oh looks like "Jerry's World" could get some competition .....personally Id rather go to Nashville rather than "little D" (as we like to refer to Dallas around here).....

And speaking of Dallas.....I wonder if Jerrah regrets not taking up Von Miller's on his free agent offer to Dallas which included a "hometown discount"?  The Bills are very happy with their decision to sign Von Miller!!!! It's worked out rather well for them

Yeah, if you have a running QB you can neutralize Parsons by simply not blocking him. It's kind of a bold strategy, but it worked. Block everyone else and force him to pick if he goes after the QB or the receiver/running back. If he goes to the QB, the ball goes to the receiver/running back. If he goes to the other guys, the QB takes off with the ball. It's a no-win situation for Parsons, and he got very frustrated.

I'm pretty sure that Dan Quinn will come up with a plan to deal with that in the future, but until then, expect to see Micah Parsons go unblocked. At least against teams that have a running QB. The Lions won't try it next week with Goff, but the Bears in two weeks with Justin Fields and Matt Eberflus being close to Nick Sirianni, will likely try the same approach. The Packers and Vikings won't try it, but the Giants probably will.

Not blocking the single most disruptive player in the game is one of those "This is so crazy it might just work" ideas. And it worked. This week. It might not work going forward.

Yeah, I just don't think Eagles DC Jonathan Gannon has the killer instinct. He's not naturally aggressive. He's more careful, cautious, forward thinking. Once he feels the game is "safe" (and games are never truly safe) he retreats back into a shell and plays safe instead of aggressive.

Von Miller is an interesting guy. He had homesickness after signing with the Bills, but the Bills' fans won him over. If he can stay healthy (a big if, but the Bills are managing him nicely so far) then he's a difference-maker for them. The Rams certainly miss him. The Cowboys could use him also. He wanted to stay in LA or go to Dallas, but neither team stepped up for him.

You want guys on your roster who want to be there. Miller wanted to be in LA or Dallas, his first two choices, but settled for Buffalo. Now he's happy there.

Wide receiver Robbie Anderson will be a guy to watch in the coming hours/days. He clearly doesn't want to be in Carolina any longer and the Panthers don't want him there. I would expect something to happen there in the next 24 hours or less. Either they'll just cut him or trade him someplace, but he's not going to be a Panther by next Sunday.

Where will he land? Disgruntled receivers tend to land in New England or Tampa. Aaron Rodgers might be looking at him and hoping he lands in Green Bay, but he's not a Packers kind of guy.

The Panthers are getting dangerously close to fire sale territory. If there's a player on their roster anyone likes, now's the time to make an offer. The bad news is they've tended to overpay their better guys and a lot of teams can't afford them.

To dome or not to dome? It's an interesting decision for a team to make. A domed stadium is more expensive but also more versatile. Field surface options get a bit more limited with a dome. Weather becomes less of a variable which can be good or bad depending on how your team is built.

Yep, you need players who are happy with their respective teams----it will be interesting to see where OBJ ends up, he wants to go back to LA but he's also not willing to sacrifice cash, even though he's older and banged up....will he go back to the Giants....???? Who knows....????

Oh no, now if the Panthers have a "fire sale" look to Ron as one of the Panthers first customers to sign even more Panther players....Yep, Danny may need to change the team name again to THE COMMANTHERS! 🙄

On a domed stadium you also have to consider the climate where the team is located----fans dont want to be in an open stadium with the hot sun beating down on them while they sweat to death trying to watch an NFL football game, the Jags ranked 30th in attendance and even added "wading pools" to try to help keep the fans cool....SMH!!! A losing team and HOT WEATHER can be detrimental and drive some fans away, and a team with a losing record adds to low attendance after the initial happiness of welcoming the NFL to their city........Thats why so many domes these days also have the option of an OPEN ROOF.....the best of both worlds!

Fans living in cold climates with a team in an open stadium know how to layer clothing to keep warm..and certain beverages help to keep them "toasty" 😉.....and the players get heated benches ....

I think a DOMED stadium is more critical for warmer climates...and these do have the opportunity to schedule a lot more additional events to keep the revenue coming in....(after all the NFL has a real short season)

Re: Week Six of the 2022 NFL Regular Season!!!

The Panthers traded Robbie Anderson to the Cardinals. Marquise Brown will miss some games due to injury, so the Cardinals needed to fill a slot, and Anderson wanted out of Carolina. Works for both sides.

Matt Ryan has been nominated for week 6 Fed Ex air player of the week. Joe Burrow and Josh Allen also were nominated.

Re: Week Six of the 2022 NFL Regular Season!!!

Robbie Anderson going from the dysfunctional Panthers to the even more dysfunctional Cards is an interesting move. The Panthers had to flush him, and the Cards had a need, but the long term success probability is very, very low.

Carson Wentz is going to miss 4 to 6 weeks with his finger injury.....

Heinicke will start and Sam Howell will be backup.....

@teganslaw

This impacts Colts compensation---if Wentz starts in 70% of games Colts get 2nd round pick, if less than 70% they will get a 3rd round pick....

Something of a win for the Commanders. They basically just traded a third-round pick to get a second. Not bad.
