I think the Eagles saw something on Swearinger on film that they exploit. In the first game Nelson Agholor pulled the old bullfighting move on him and let him run past him as Agholor slid by him for the TD, then yesterday Zach Ertz did the same thing. Swearinger charges at them like a mad bull and they just 'ole' him and walk into the end zone.
The Redskins were forced to make a lot of changes this past off season and few of them were to improve the team this year. They lost a good coordinator and needed to replace him. Then they flushed two really good wide receivers to get younger and save money.
In a perfect world your off season moves are to improve the team each year. You want to get better players, better coaches, and better results. The Eagles pretty much did that. We replaced a less effective wide receiver coach with a highly regarded one who became available after the Rams flushed their staff. We upgraded the wide receivers, running backs, defensive line, defensive backs, and added depth pretty much everywhere. It's showing on the field.

Dang! Jason Peters also tore his ACL and is gone for the year. It was thought earlier that it was just an MCL but the MRI this morning showed the ACL tear.
