I get the feeling that Mahomes doesn't want to leave the game, so Andy Reid gives in and lets him play. I have no proof of that, just my thoughts. Mahomes might not have a choice this time, though. The Chiefs have Carson Wentz, so it's not like they're lacking a backup QB.
Josh Allen had his 5th straight game with a rushing TD. He is the only QB in NFL history to have multiple rushing touchdowns in 5 or more consecutive games. Allen for MVP-no brainer! One problem for the Bills is their defense. How far can they go in the playoffs giving up so many points?
I don't care about the Seahawks fluorescent uniforms. The uniforms are a bit distracting.

I agree about those fluorescent Seahawk uniforms----arrrggghhh! They remind me of those glow sticks....

There doesn't seem to be many Chiefs fans on this forum or at least any vocal fans. So I'll say it...

All in all, a very good win for the Eagles. They took on a team that was playing well and leading their division and got the win. A ten minute, 21 play drive to end the game will irk Mike Tomlin something fierce. He takes great pride in his defense being able to stop a team and get the ball back. They failed. That's why he punted on a fourth and seven in the fourth quarter. He assumed his defense could make a stop and get the ball back. The Eagles just ground out the end of the game and the Steelers' offense never saw the ball again.
A big game now on Saturday with the Steelers and Ravens going head to head. Whoever wins that will have an edge for the AFC North title. That will be a war. The Steelers tried to bully the Eagles with their 300+ pound TE Washington driving Darius Slay all the way through the endzone on an extended block. All it did was fire up the rest of the Eagles' defenders. Riling up the opponent isn't always a good idea.
A couple of more games tonight. The Bears/Vikings and the Falcons/Raiders.

But to be fair the steelers were missing their best weapon. WR Pickens and the offense floundered without him i would have liked to have seen both teams at full strength. And now things dont look good with TJ Watt hurt on defense.
Now having said that the Eagles performance was superb and Hurts and Browns play shut up the criticism

Yeah, Pickens definitely helps them but we were without Goedert and had two o-linemen go down for at least part of the game.
I'm pretty sure the reason Mike Tomlin didn't get any sleep overnight is the inability to stop the Eagles on that final drive. You can't let a team have a 21-play ten-plus-minute drive to run out the clock. There's no way he thought the Eagles could do that to his defense. Teams just don't have 21-play drives that eat up the final ten-plus minutes of a game. Most teams have a four-minute offense to kill the game, but ten minutes? Unheard of. Twenty-one plays? Impossible.
That's a team-breaking situation. The offense is looking at the defense and saying, "For God's sake, stop them!" The defense is like, "What do you think we're trying to do?" The offense can't trust the defense after a situation like that and the defense starts to doubt themselves. A drive like that just rips the heart out of a team. The offense is mad that they never got the ball back and the defense is mad that they couldn't stop the Eagles. Teams just don't have 21-play drives that eat the final ten -minutes of a game. But the Eagles did it.
It changes how other teams will play the Eagles. If you're behind in the fourth quarter, you can't punt the ball to the Eagles for fear of never seeing the ball again. "Fourth and thirty? I guess we should go for it." A drive like that helps to define a season. You just assume you can stop the other team with ten minutes left to play and you'll get the ball back. And the Steelers didn't. And that's a pretty good, prideful defense. They're not happy today. They got spanked when it mattered the most in the game. And now they face the Ravens on Saturday.
Tomlin's going to have his work cut out to get his players' heads in the right place before that game. They're not in a good headspace now after that game.

The NFL issued 23 fines from week 14. The violations included unnecessary roughness, roughing the passer, helmet hits, and unsportsmanlike conduct. Chase Brown was fined for jumping in the Salvation Army kettle after scoring.
It seems that the NFL is getting more strict on plays. They're hauling in a lot of money lately.
Surprisingly, the Colts aren't eliminated from the playoffs. They will be if they continue making the same kind of mistakes.

CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR WIN! I thought it was odd making the Panthers the favorite. We are hearing a lot of sports media folks saying Jerry may stick with McCarthy thats if he wants to stay and continue to work meddling owner,
GM, and "coach"....Jerry Jones!

I think the NFL should start fining refereesfor blatant mistakes! 😠
