Names that I know but didn't see on the field. Names that I don't know but saw on the field. It was like the whole team were imposters except for the lumberjack, Kelse. The Eagles out play the Chiefs. But the Chiefs didn't even look like they were trying. I'm not into conspiracy theories but if I was I would be certain they purposely lost that game. Bless their hearts
please don't say that the Chiefs were not trying or it was a conspiracy theory! that is just sour grapes.
no team shows up to the SB and plays like they are not trying to win. and if they did, THEN SHAME ON THEM!
call it for what it was: a beat down.
they could not get past the 50 yard line till the 3rd quarter. the Defense was Dominant. kept him contained, covered his receivers, they had no running game.
the Eagles were the better team by far. they have the #1 Defense, #1 O-line, best running back in the league, best wide receivers.
so give them credit where its due.
if it was a close game, like it was 2 years ago, then maybe an arguement. but none here this year.
Mahomes was lost, rattled, frustrated and deflated why, because the Defense overpowered the O-Line of the chiefs.
football is won in the trenches and the Eagles won both sides of those trenches
the Chiefs got 2 garbage TD's when the game was in hand and the Eagles had in their 2nd string to boot. so no, they did not play better in the 4th quarter.

Rosters matter and if you compare the two rosters position by position, the Eagles were better everywhere but maybe QB, center, and TE, though Kelce's in decline while Goedert is still at the top of his game. And in those positions where the Chiefs were better, it wasn't by a lot. Mahomes is a little better than Hurts. Creed Humphries is a little better than Cam Jurgens. Kelce and Goedert are pretty darn close. Every other roster spot largely favored the Eagles and in some cases favored the Eagles by a lot.
The Eagles just have the better roster and they played like they had the better roster. Xavier Worthy has potential to become great, but he's still a kid and isn't up to AJ Brown just yet. The better roster won the game. And it usually does. Players play and when you put better players on the field you tend to win.
The Chiefs need to fix the o-line. Kelce needs to get younger or play like he's younger. A good edge rusher or two wouldn't hurt. Spags needs to come up with a compromise defense that slows the run and stops the passing game. He sold out last night to stop Barkley and largely did, but gave up 40 points. You're not going to win a lot of games giving up 40 points. "We stopped Barkley!" Yeah, and look where it got you. Letting Barkley run for 100+ yards but only giving up 24 points would have been better.
Every loss is a learning experience. Your opponent highlights your weaknesses and exposes them to you. You use the offseason to fix what you can and see what happens next year. The Chiefs need a better roster. Players play and they didn't have the better players. They need to fix that. Free agency, the draft, via trade, somehow they have to improve the roster. They've got a good QB and center. They need more than just that though.

Oh yeah it certainly did pan out exactly like many of us thought. Please, nobody get too upset here. Just a little 'smack talk' served up with Brotherly Love and Sisterly Affection.
YAY! No. 1 Birds!!

By the way, it is recommended to wear GREEN.

Your post reminds me of football season in high school. Each week we would have a contest for a saying to be printed, by our print shop, of course on a booster tag. It was always a lot of fun, we learned some new words and looked forward to this.🏈🔖

Congrats Eagles! Was glad to see Kenny Picket get to play. The game came out exactly as PA hoped! Steeler and AFC fan, but was so glad to see the Eagles win!
However, I was sad to see Taylor Boo'd though.

My DH and I had no dog in this fight, but we were hoping the Chiefs would get beat. Watched week after week of the refs helping the Chiefs win. The Eagles were the very best team on the field yesterday. The only reason the Chief's were able to score late in the game was because several of their starters sat on the bench so the second string got a chance to play.

@monicakm The Buffalo Bills went to the Super Bowl 4 times in a row in the 1990s without winning one. I was hoping they would make it this time. I guess I'll "wait until next year"!!

Mahomes wandered around like a little lost sheep. No where to go to avoid the inevitable attacks. And I read one of many sports articles today that said "Kelce needs to get younger or play younger". Wouldn't surprise me if he retires.

I don't follow sports much at all. A little college ball maybe but anyway DH and I did watch the game last night. Could not believe the interceptions!
My final comment (since I don't know the players or their names) but boy, that Eagles field goal kicker was something else!!!
Congrats to the Eagles.
