I am used to it....doesn';t bother me.....and i find the older i get...the more i grunt and grown when putting physical effort into something......so i am sure i would be very noisy

on the tennis court...haha.

It isn't the noise per se that bothers me. It is the primal scream on nearly every shot that I find totally unnecessary and offensive.

IMO, Sharapova is the worst with Azarenka right behind.

 

Tennis is hard for me to watch these days as it's mostly hitting baseline to baseline and hardly ever coming up to net to volley or dropshot.

My nephew is a highly-ranked college tennis player; he told me his coaches have always told him the screaming and grunting isn't necessary....he told me it's supposed to be banned at Wimbledon, but not sure how strictly it is enforced.
