Looks like I'm all alone here following European football (soccer, to us in the US).While watching the match between England and Switzerland played today in Düsseldorf, I caught sight of Prince William on the sidelines.Good to see him there supporting England, who were a bit lackluster but pulled out a win on a penalty shootout.

He looked like American football fans at a rival college game, really getting into it and pulling for the home team.  I watched part of it but had lots of work to do.

@laluzdelmundo Most posters on the the Sports forum are not into soccer and basketball.  Maybe try posting it on the Community Chat forum for more discussion.

@Linmo Thanks for the tip. Never occured to me but seems logical. Lots of American football discussion on here, none of which I follow.

@SharkE Dunno, but Princess Kate seems like the kind of wife who wouldn't begrudge her hubby some time with the "mates" at a football game. He's had a lot on his plate lately.

@laluzdelmundo .. I think this is the perfect place for your post.  After all, soccer is a sport.  I'm sure lots of people follow soccer.
