Only The Mets

So the Mets have fired their new GM Jared Porter for a sexting scandal from 2016 that just surfaced. He worked for the Chicago Cubs and Arizona Diamondbacks, how is this the first we're hearing about this? Don't the Mets do proper vetting on possible hires?

Yes, it's typically Mets.  I think the woman, who was a foreign journalist, kept quiet about it until now.  So the Cubs and Dbacks didn't know.

I'm glad they found out NOW instead of when the season started! nd that our new owner Steve Cohen fired him immediately.
