I did the same @Bookplate  and saw it demonstrated by Pat on the video.  Because it is angled she was  using a usual walking motion lifting and placing one foot in front of the other.  Definitely not a work out at all for an able person but I can see some benefit for someone who's mobility is severely limited.

I saw a video of this  - people working at computers, drinking coffee.............I'm not sure I could do two things at once any longer. LOL
