Broncos WR Jerry Jeudy was arrested on second degree criminal tampering charges with a domestic violence enhancer. In CO, where this occurred, criminal tampering refers to tampering with another person's property "intending injury, annoyance or inconvenience." Details weren't given on exactly how Jeudy did that.

He will remain in jail until he sees a judge, probably within 24 hours.

This is the start of players getting into trouble. Expect more of that in the next few weeks.

So it started already---I shouldve checked to see if I could bet on that ....Gee, the Cowboys werent first....but the offseason is young ---plenty of time to act up....

Re: NFL News and Notes for May 2022!!!

Cynthia Frelund listed her predictions. According to her statistics, the Colts will win the AFC South. Broncos, Bengals and Chargers are Wild Card. Ravens will win the AFC North.

The Eagles will win the NFC East. Wild Cards are Cowboys, Vikings and 49ers. (Sorry, Spurt.)

This makes me a bit nervous. The Colts were suppose to go far in the playoffs last year, and everyone knows how that turned out. They need to get off to a good start, win a game in Jacksonville and at least split with the Titans, not get swept by them again.

Ron Rivera won the 2022 George Halas award voted by the Professional Football Writers of America. The award is given to those in the NFL who overcame adversity to be successful. Congrats to him!

I'm midly excited about my Cowboys opening with Brady and boys, again.

They only beat us by 2 points last year.

Did y'all see some of the creative ways some teams announced their schedules---you can see these on NFL.com, twitter or You Tube

https://www.nfl.com/news/nfl-teams-get-creative-for-2022-schedule-release

The Giants did a comical skit with Eli Manning and there's a brief appearance by his brother, Peyton...and new Giants head coach Brian Daboll....

Everyone was raving over the Charger's anime cartoon take on the schedule.....a funny caricature of Andy Reid and the the Chargers coach, Staley, and the Raider's pirate ship enclosed in a glass bottle, riding a dolpin, gun blowing up in the Texans face...and an anime take on Patrick Mahomes and other players....HILARIOUS!

The Panthers took a step back in time with rotary corded phones, old fashioned TV's and the big ole computers with the actualAOL dial up and old fashion video game systems....and push-up ice cream bars and loaded baked potatoes for a treat.....

A melodramatic music video for the 49ers--glimpses of animals, butting heads with the Rams, mile high mountains and different city skylines, I guess canons going off was the Commanders....🙄

Colts---Matty Ice's ice sculptures....🙄

John Randle doesa good job for the Vikings

Game night with the Saints is funny---charades, pictionary, jeopardy....

My team had a pretty lame video titled "smash the competition"---they took a sledge hammer and smashed objects representing other teams, smashing the glass horse figurines representing the Colts wasnt very nice and tearing up a teddy bear aint gonna go well with PETA,Eagle fans will be thrilled as they watch an outhouse with an Eagles logo being smashed, the Giants were represented by a laptop with a NY Giant logo on it, the Browns a dawgz water bowl...pretty lame stuff🙄

The Jets did a primitive cartoon with phrases like "nice drive" as they road in a jet powered car and  passed a Bills fan cooking buffalo wings....what an excellent route while riding in a cab....Jet Blue touching down...(get it) in Denver.....catching fish at a fish market (Seattle)

And of course, Peyton Manning introduces the new "sheriff" in town, Russell Wilson....and shows him the ropes at Bronco Headquarters

The Lions was simple but humorous....

Boring---the Jags, "you in" and the Packs miniature golf course featuring representatives of opponents mascots...poorly done....and Coach Reid....reads...literally....The Bears throw footballs in a dumpster...., the Dolphins make a t-shirt with their schedule---ZZZZ, Coach Harbaugh sends players out to get a spy compromising the schedule release--as Goodell reads it--  @gardenman pretty lame contest player duos blow up balloons corresponding with glasses with team logos---ZZZZ, guy grossly eats buffalo wings, while someone plays guitar and someone paints...the Rams attempt a Hollywood movie and FAIL--ZZzz, Stephen A and of course Jerry comprise the Cowboys schedule release---yep, no surprise Jerry would get some limelight---share his stadium with a 2nd NFL team---NO WAY!..😣

I have a feeling the Eagles and Commanders will split wins. The Niners are a mystery to me. They seem committed to Trey Lance as their QB and you just don't know what he'll do. He didn't look great last year. If they cut loose Jimmy G, and they pretty much have to given his cap hit, then they're left with Nate Sudfeld and rookie Brock Purdy (7th round pick) as their only other options. They've pretty much bet the team on Trey Lance being "the guy" and if he's not, they don't have a lot of other real-world options. If Lance falters, the Niners could be in big trouble.

Their schedule is interesting. Week one they start out with the Bears in a battle of the young QBs. They should win that game. They're the best team, but it's at the Bears and you never know. Then they have Seattle at home. If I'm right about Jimmy G being a Seahawk, that might not be an easy win for them. Then the Broncos and Rams. Things smooth out a bit with road games at the Panthers and Falcons that should be wins. Then they've got the Chiefs, Rams, and Chargers. Those three could all be losses pretty easily. Then the Cards, Saints, Dolphins. Probably a couple of losses there. (The Saints are another team that's kind of a mystery to me.) The Bucs and Seahawks are up next. Then the Commanders, Raiders, and Cards. I can see six or seven wins for them if the kid is good. If he flops, maybe two to three wins.

I wouldn't be saving money for playoff tickets if I was a Niner fan until I saw the kid play a few more games. He's going to have to be good, and probably very good, to get past the seven-win mark.

The Saints confuse me too. They signed Jarvis Landry today. That strikes me as a JJ "name" signing more than a guy who will really help them. He hung out on the market for a long time with no takers and signed a one-year deal for $6 million when receivers are signing for $18+ million all around the league. On paper, Landry, Thomas, and Olave look like a great receiving group, and then you add in Alvin Kamara. But they lost offensive guru Sean Payton and replaced him with DC Dennis Allen. Defensive coaches tend to handcuff their own offense. They tend to be more, "Don't take chances. Just punt the ball and let the defense make a stand." The good offensive coaches tend to be the gunslinger type. With a turnover-prone QB in Winston and a defensive coach who'd rather they just punt the ball and let the defense play, that Saints offense may slip a bit.

That Niners loss on your list could pretty easily be a win. Maybe Trey Lance is all of that and will show it. We'll have to see.

Re: NFL News and Notes for May 2022!!!

I don't know what's happening, but the Titans' fans are popping up on my Twitter feed almost nonstop. They may be the most delusional fanbase I've ever seen. Some claim Treylon Burks is already better than AJ Brown. Others claim one of the receivers they took later in the draft is better than Cooper Kupp. Malik Willis is some combination of Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, and Russell Wilson all rolled into one. What?

It's great to be optimistic and all of that, but there's a difference between optimism and delusion. Treylon Burks couldn't get through their first practice. He was gasping and using an inhaler before being escorted off the field. Their offense is playing against air right now. Every QB looks good with no defenders. Every receiver looks great when there's no one hitting them.

Maybe they're right. Maybe all of those guys are all of that, but I'm going to have to see it to believe it.

I watched most of the schedule releases. My favorites were the Chargers, Giants and Broncos. I also liked when the Lions are playing the Jags "so you know about Urban survival." LOL.

Cynthia Frelund predicts that SF will be a wildcard, so maybe she knows something about their qb situation already.

The Titans' fanbase has always been annoying. Winning the AFC South for several years does that. It was especially bad when they swept the Colts. Now with A.J.Brown gone, they have make up for the loss.

WOW! If they are more delusional than Cowboy fans---THAT'S DELUSIONAL!!!!!  I'm rather disappointed in the Tennessee fan base!!!!

Maybe its leftover craziness from their original owner, the late and not so great Bud Adams best known for mooning fans and the media and was chased out of H town and moved the Oilers to Nashville and changed the name to the Titans....OR maybe the fans got big egos because they hosted one of the most successful and entertaining NFL Drafts....(even Dallas's draft party was a bit of a mediocre flop----too spread out.)......

Tennessee has always been one of my favorite states to visit---and Tennessee and Texas have enduring ties to each other, a lot of Tennnessians gave their lives at the Alamo....and then there's the Waylon Jennings classic country song "T's for Texas, T's for Tennessee"......I hope the Titans faithful can come back to reality....

It's weird they'd jump on the Eagles of all teams----was AJ Brown that much of a fan favorite and perhaps deep down inside they are just trying to justify that move and other moves by the team....????? 🤔  With all the other moves in the AFC their draft got little attention......maybe thats the issue they feel neglected.......
