Realistic and accurate DON HARRIS said that the Cowboys Turpin who was arrested for marijuana and guns probably won't be suspended by the NFL, but will surely be subjected to added drug testing

HELLO NFL FANS, these are DOPPIO'S NFL picks REVIEW WITH a grain of salt...errr...catnip...
As you can see he's on his window ledge, keeping his eyes out for birds...Ya noticed he picked MY Washington team and not his cat mom's team....![]()

Bryce Huff is a moron. "There's a plethora of things that went down. I don't wanna get into specifics. Being in the league for five years, I kinda knew what it felt like to be in a good situation. ... I kind of knew where it was headed fairly early on into the season, probably even training camp if I'm being honest."
Dude, four of your five years were with the Jets, who were a disaster. You then came to Philly, arguably one of the best teams in recent years, and thought it wasn't a "good situation?" Yeah. don't bother showing up for your Super Bowl ring then. You certainly didn't earn it. I'd hate for it to be a constant reminder to you of the "bad situation" you found yourself in. Moron!

I agree with your picks...some were coin flips, we will have to wait to see how new coaches and players contribute over time....

I didn't dislike him until recently. These stupid statements are rapidly moving him up my hate list. "I knew what it felt like to be in a good situation." Oh yeah, the Jets were Shangri-la compared to Philly. Dude! What the....
If you watched him play last year, you would have seen him fall down. A lot. The ball is snapped. Huff steps forward, and falls down, then lies on the ground as the OT puts a hand on his shoulder, and Huff makes no effort to get up.
He went from one of the worst teams in football to one of the best teams, and he missed the bad team? He put in no effort. He was paid a lot and did little. Now he's saying it was a bad situation? Yeah, for the Eagles and their fans. An overpaid pompous moron got to get a free ride to the Super Bowl and now feels maligned. The poor baby!
Eagles fans love guys who leave it all on the field. Huff didn't. I've never seen an edge rusher fall down and then just lie there as much as he did. And he did it a lot. I mean a lot. There's a reason they sat him on the bench through the playoffs. He was useless. Now it was a bad situation? 95% of the players would kill to be in that situation. He's a moron! Good luck, Niners!

Yeah, you don't truly know what will happen until the mid-point of the season. Some teams will unexpectedly rise while others will unexpectedly fall. I'm pretty sure the Giants, Jets, Browns, and Saints will be fighting it out for the first overall pick, but other than that...who knows?

@Spurt - I'm just going to agree with both you and Gardenman on your picks. I don't have all the knowledge that the two of you do knowing everything about all the teams, how good or bad they are, etc. I basically know who is good, though. I think your team will do very well this season and give our Eagles a challenge for the East. I really like the Bills and Ravens so we'll see how that all goes. Again, anyone but KC! Sick of them!
I wanted to mention from your post the other day that cracked me up about the dinosaurs and eventually how they may be recreated in the upcoming years. So that made me wonder, if at some point, we won't even have refs anymore in the NFL! If they create robot ones to call all the games! Same for any pro sport! A scary thought!
And I love your sister's adorable Doppio!! Sending him hugs! ![]()

SPURT, in his senior year Kameron Jones averaged 19.2 points and 5.9 assists per game. He is considered an excellent playmaker, although he is a streaky scorer. He has the ability to off balance opponents and does well as a combo guard. Also has leadership abilities.
Maybe Bryce Huff has some kind of grudge against Nick Sirriani Howie Roseman or the city of Philadelphia. The 49ers will eventually learn if they made a mistake in signing him.
I think the Bears and Jets both have a chance to win. The Bears could improve under new management and the Jets would like to prove that letting Aaron Rodgers leave was a good move. I sense a rebellion by Doppio in predicting the Commanders over the Giants.

I don't know what Bryce Huff's issue was. Maybe he felt like an outsider since he wasn't one of the Georgia guys. I don't know. I just know he did next to nothing when given the chance. He was paid a lot. Landed in a good place. Good coaches in Vic Fangio and Clint Hurtt. And he fell down a lot, and laid on the ground. Maybe he felt underappreciated. Maybe he thought he should be treated like a star. I don't know. I just know he vastly underperformed. I'm glad he's gone.
