Ya gotta love Brian Robinson...despite being on crutches with a bandage on his knee he made sure to fulfill his rookie duties of getting snacks for the RB room--He chose classic Oreos---Love this guy.....😘
And McLaurin has nothing but praise for Wentz--
The pair always finds time to communicate on the field or in the meeting room. ----
“Even the things that don’t necessarily show up in the games or practice, we talk through on the sidelines or in the meetings,” McLaurin said. “That’s really cool to have a guy that’s so communicative like he is, and he’s easy to work with. He’s a guy that we could really continue to grow together, not just myself but the other guys in our room.”
One area where Wentz has often got into trouble was playing off-schedule. McLaurin likes that part of Wentz’s game and sees it as a strength----
“I think he’s going to continue to give us chances to make plays down the field; he gives us a chance to really play some backyard football, which is personally what I like,” he said. “Everything is not quite going to be as clean as you want it to be, but if you have a quarterback who is problem-solving and a receiver that is problem-solving, you can make the play work. It’s been great working with him; it really has; he’s just a really good human being,” the wide receiver said. “So it makes it easy to work with a person like that.”

No, No, No not Marcus Davenport our hometown guy and UTSA graduate that was drafted by the Saints in 2018!
I doubt that the Saints will let all four guys wander off, but they're going to need to find some cap space in 2023 and that's one way to do it. They've got decent cap room in 2024 and going forward from there, so they can sign a guy cheap for year one with a bigger signing bonus that can be pro-rated. There are only so many guys they can do that with though. Chauncey-Gardner was one they chose not to do that with. They might just keep Davenport, but if they let him go, he'll find a new team in free agency.

One area of weakness that Washington still needs to address especially in terms of depth is LB---Some players that could be targeted---
LB Kevin-Pierre Louis
LB Javelin Guidry
S Jaquiski Tartt

Well Jerry is going with his rookie LT----I bet Dak is thrilled... During a Tuesday appearance on 105.3 The Fan, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said it is “safe to say” that Smith is the option for LT and that the team is confident in his ability to handle the job....And let's see if the Cowboys will lead in penalties too......Oh well, if things dont work out McCarthy will be blamed.....

Washington claimed DB Tariq Castro-Fields from the 49ers and DB Rachad Wildgoose from the Jets
The only real surprise is Apke---not a fan favorite....he makes so many mistakes...

The Vikings who'd been balking at giving up a fifth round pick for Jalen Reagor, ended up giving up a fourth and a seventh for Jalen Reagor. Uh, okay. Now the fourth can revert to a fifth if Reagor fails to meet certain standards, but still the fifth is reportedly what the Eagles had been asking for and they got an extra seventh also. I'm guessing other teams got the guys the Vikings were hoping to claim, so they paid more now to get Reagor.
The Eagles also claimed QB Ian Book from the Saints. He's now QB 3. Lots of familiar names on the practice squad. One surprise was former starting safety Anthony Harris, a seven year vet, opted to join the practice squad. He could be rostered on many teams and even start, but he wants to stay in Philly.

The Cowboys signed QBs Cooper Rush and Will Grier to the practice squad along with their kicker. They'll shuffle them to the regular roster in the next day or two.
Most of the wholesale roster shuffling is done. A few guys will move on and off the rosters, but by and large, things will be mostly settled now. Coaches can now focus on game planning and game prep.
