Dwayne Haskins fell to the Redskins without them having to move up. He's a good QB, but Gruden will either have to adjust his system, or Haskins will need to speed up his delivery. Haskins tends to be a bit slow in his delivery and Gruden prefers guys with a quick release. We'll have to see how that works out.

I listened to an intetesting Podcast with John Keim and Chris Cooley. Cooley knows Jay Gruden well... and he talked about what type of QB and scheme Jay favors....and Cooley said he likes a QB with a bit of a gun slinger mentality that's why he likes Colt McCoy that likes to take chances, he doesn't like slow methodical guys....that was the problem with Kirk Cousins...too slow, hung on to ball too long....Anyway glad the team didnt give away the farm for Haskins....I predict another QB bust..........
@gardenman Oh BTW who an analyst compared Haskins too was Nick Foles......
Boy the Eagles sure gave up quite a bit to @sunshine45 Ravens to move up just a bit....hope Dillard works out...are Eagles geting rid of Wentz's biggest fan, Johnson....looks like the Eagles didnt want the Texans to get Dillard....

no surprise that the ravens go with a wide receiver on their first pick.
we are trying to build up our offense for jackson.
of course, some are mad because jackson is not known for his passing plays. some feel like we should have drafted a running back first.

Dillard's an interesting pick. Pro Football Focus had him ranked 13th overall among draftable kids and as the second best offensive lineman. He's big at 6'-5" and 315 lbs. His weakness is run blocking because he almost never did it in college in their air-raid offense, but he's big and strong enough to dominate. As a pass blocker he only allowed pressure on 0.4% of pass attempts. I don't think anyone mocked him to the Eagles, primarily because everyone thought he'd be gone in the teens. The Eagles are gathering a fair number of younger offensive linemen with Pryor and Mailata last year, now Dillard. They also have Seumalo and Vaitai. Only Seumalo is now a starter, so there's some good young depth waiting to fill in.The
I'm not thrilled giving up a fourth and sixth round pick to move up, but if Dillard is as good as people say, that's a small price to pay for a starting left tackle. He'll get tested by this Eagles' d-line in training camp. The coaches will likely protect him a bit, but from time to time he'll find himself going against a top line defensive lineman.
The Redskins just traded up to get Montez Sweat. A great player, but potentially some off the field issues.

Thanks to colts for makingthe trade so we could move up....

He played in 2 games in 2015 and was suspended for rest of the season for "unknown reasons"

The "coaches can't yell at him" makes you wonder how stable he'll be playing on the road in the NFC East. Eagles and Giants fans can be pretty brutal. He's going to get yelled at a lot.
